Telehealth uses a confidential virtual platform, like Zoom, to meet with the therapist in a private setting. Your only requirements are a device capable of connecting to both audio and visual platforms and the internet. Therapy is, of course, a personal process, so having a private place without interruptions is also needed.

Teletherapy is an extension of a therapy office that helps to break down barriers to transportation and time constraints. You can participate from any private space with internet. It’s helpful for those who live in rural areas, can’t drive to an office, or have a busy schedule and need to fit therapy between commitments.

One of the biggest barriers to therapy is not reluctance to the healing process, but instead, the difficulty of time and transportation. I offer evening and weekend appointments so we can meet virtually on your schedule.
My focus on trauma and its impact on daily life is different from the “what is happening today” approach of many therapists. I want to help you discover and heal the impact, so that you can go forward and enjoy your life. While it can be scary to bring up traumatic memories from the past, you will be supported in the process.
